Here’s a great site that compiles information about implementing and teaching evidence-based management. Brought to you by two EBM pioneers, Jeff Pfeffer and Bob Sutton, authors of a 2006 book that I highly recommended in a March 6 posting (Hard Facts, Dangerous Half-Truths And Total Nonsense: Profiting From Evidence-Based Management). The site seeks to create a community and shared content, asking others to post their course outlines. (BTW, we here at Evidence Soup world headquarters were pleased to see ourselves mentioned on the site.)
Something else we can learn from these guys is how to write about business management: They express themselves very directly and write in an entertaining style (such as coining the phrase "evidence-resistant jerks"). Sutton and Pfeffer's previous book, The Knowing-Doing Gap, is also a must-read.
