I saw several amusing signs* in the coverage of last week's Restoring Sanity rally, but this one's the winner. All together, everybody!
What do we want?
Evidence-based change!
When do we want it?
After peer review!
Thanks to Ashley Welde, Director of Evidence-Based Communications at Burson-Marsteller, for this. She saw it in Restoring Sanity, One Journal Article at a Time on The Monkey Cage (a blog inspired by H. L. Mencken: "Democracy is the art of running the circus from the monkey cage."). They spotted the sign on Inside Higher Ed.
*Other signs I liked:
- "I can see Reason from my house."
- "Correctly spelled slogan."
- "Soylent green is people!"
- "I will respect your opinion as soon as you stop making sh*t up!"
- "I want more tortillas when I order fajitas at a restaurant."
